Cost effective claims for high power connectors

The PowerModHP (high power) 'B' series connector family features touch-safe female housings, integral positive latches and cable strain relief.
Available now from Anderson Power Products (APP), the PowerModHP (high power) 'B' series connector family features touch-safe female housings, integral positive latches and cable strain relief. These safety features, combined with the ease of connector assembly, establish a new standard for cost effective high power connectors. APP's PowerMod HP 'B' Series connector is rated over 350A for appropriate applications and to 250A at a 30C temperature rise.

The product accommodates American wire sizes from 1/0 to 4/0 AWG and metric wires from 50 to 95mm2.

These connectors use APP's patented Sterling contact technology that offers low electrical resistance, provides a minimum of 500 mating cycles and is rated for circuit interruption (true hot-plug).

The unique latching system, with distinct blue buttons for clear identification, offers superior security and ergonomics.

These connectors are IP20 rated (touch safe) for user safety, and the integral coding key provides further protection by allowing the user to configure unique mating of up to six individual connectors.

An innovative cable strain relief kit, which encompasses all applicable wire sizes, is available as a product option for additional reliability.

PowerMod HP is offered in ten different connector housing types, including right angle, busbar, panel mount and blindmate/float selections, delivering broad design flexibility for current and future high power interconnections.
