Plastic circulars are sealed at low cost

Binder 440 Series miniature plastic circular connectors meet the growing demand for a low-cost push-pull circular connector with IP67 protection.
Quadrant is now stocking the Binder 440 Series miniature, plastic, circular connectors introduced to meet the growing demand for a low cost, push-pull, circular connector with IP67 protection. The Binder 440 comprises five easy to assemble piece-parts and the simple, uncomplicated design and highly effective push-pull locking mechanism offers considerable cost benefits over traditional metal, push-pull connectors. Cable connectors are manufactured from tough, black polyamide with a nickel-plated sleeve and a PBT insert and the flange depth of only 2mm allows for almost flush mounting.

Excellent EMC protection is provided in both cable and chassis connectors and unshielded versions to IP67 and IP40 are also available.

Gold plated solder contacts allow for more than 1000 mating cycles.

The Binder 440 accommodates cables up to 8mm in diameter and is supplied in 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8,12 and 19 pin configurations in standard format and 3, 6 and 8 in DIN format.

They are ideal for applications such as test equipment, instrumentation and medical equipment.
