Terminal blocks are fast, reliable and compact
RIA's new AST125 and AST188 are the latest additions to the SpringCon family of terminal blocks.
RIA's new AST125 and AST188 are the latest additions to the SpringCon family of terminal blocks. Fulfilling the three essentials of today's field wiring applications - fast installation, reliable connection and compact design - these new terminal blocks feature high density dual inline terminations with two vertical wire connections for each pole. Quick installation is achieved by wire ready contacts allowing solid wires, as well as stranded wires with ferrules, to be inserted directly without any lever actuation.
Having two independent connections per pole allows one wire to be relocated while the second is kept under constant pressure in a gas-tight and vibration-resistant connection.
A test port for each pole permits easy verification of the circuit.
Available with 2 to 24 poles, the design of double solder pins for each pole provides a stable mounting on the PCB and wire acceptance is either vertically oriented or at 60 degrees.
The full range includes the standard metric and imperial pitches of 5.0, 5.08, 7.50 and 7.62mm.
The UL rating for AST125 is 300V AC, 15A with 28-12 AWG cable, on a 5.0mm pitch and the AST188 rated at 600V AC, 15A with 28-12 AWG cable, on a 7.62mm pitch.
