Termination chips use green substrates
Radiall has developed new 5 and 6GHz 100W aluminium nitride termination chips for ferrite isolator applications.
Radiall has developed new 5 and 6GHz 100W aluminium nitride termination chips for ferrite isolator applications. The new devices use the environmentally friendly AlN substrate for those who may have some concern with beryllium oxide. Radiall has improved the adhesion process in order to obtain improved strength between the isolator body and terminal.
The company reckons that the new devices help OEMs meet the demand of today's market trend, covering a wider range of applications within the same product, therefore simplifying the production flow and reducing inventory.
