USB connectivity now available for serial data

New Forest Electronics has introduced a TTL to USB convertor cable, for connecting serial data at 3V3 logic levels to a computer USB port.
New Forest Electronics has introduced a TTL to USB convertor cable, for connecting serial data at 3V3 logic levels to a computer USB port. It includes connections for the RTS and CTS control lines. This USB convertor cable allows an application program running on a computer to receive and transmit serial data on a circuit board operating at 3V3 TTL logic levels.
It also allows an RTS control line to be set, and a CTS control line to be monitored.
The drivers provided make the computer USB port appear as a standard serial port, ie it will appear to application programs as 'COM3' or 'COM4' etc.
The USB cable TTL connections are terminated with easy to connect female receptacles suitable for pushing onto standard 0.64mm (0.025 inch) square PCB header pins.
Each cable includes certified drivers, printed manual and lifetime technical support by phone or email.
